Eckerö Post & tullhus

The building was built in 1828 and is considered to be the architect Carl Ludvig Engels' most important profane building. Eckerö Post & Tullhus was built by the Russian armed forces as a border station to Sweden. The building is now open for visitors to view the exhibition and get a guided tour by the hosts. Adjacent to the museum is a café in a unique historical setting from 1828.
