Höckböleholmen nature reserve is a varied with a rich wildlife. In the spring, white anemones and blue anemones bloom and on the headland, the orchid Adam and Eve grow. Trees and shrubs, such as aspen, maple, ash, hazel, wild apple, goat apple, hawthorn and sea buckthorn make the reserve an experience even during the autumn. Birds such as woodpecker species, porpoises, tree crawlers, cuckoo surfaces, crows and green warblers are found here. Here is also the beautiful Lastarudden which was once used as a loading place for galleys during the time of peasant sailing. On the nature reserve there is also a nature trail that is 1,8 km long marked with yellow poles. At the entrance of the nature reserve there are rules all visitors should follow.
